So yeah, I should really post, but I haven't had time and so instead you get this. I am working on the dvd, and will hopefully catch up with the blog later in the week

But for interests sake... important happenings;

1. My exam... yes M.. is over... Thank god! I have holidays for a month! Happy face!
2. I am busy working on the dvd, which is making me happy! *Hopefully* I can get it done before Bodie moves out of his MANSION and stops Mansion-ificating.
3. I was in a car accident on Friday. It was scary. But no one was hurt. I will not be driving anymore, being in cars freaks me out.
4. I saw the Mercedes SACE yr 12 play on Thursday night with the usual suspects. It was very funny and fairly well executed. I found it hard though, knowing the drama class was split in two, ignoring the obvious tension.

Lights Out I Can't Stand To Hear You Scream...

So Mum relented on the House Arrest thing, so I was allowed out one more time.
JP and I met Al, Mia, Denley, JAmes and Peanut in Hungry George's... a lame but eatable fast food place. There we had dinner and discussed the crapness of the music being played. After that the other left for Casa Del Jojo, and JP and I went to the movies at North Adelaide. We saw The COOLEST MOVIE EVER 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'. What could be better than hot people and lots of cool explosions and gun fights!?? ... Well if they were all other-worldly and had wings and stuff I guess... But besides the point. It was really good. PLUS it had sexy Adam Brody in it and he was all rugged and bad. Plus Angelina Jolie who is also hot... see it fun for the whole family!

Yeah I had fun...

and now its back to House Arrest... I shall remain to be seen until Friday :(

Smashy Smashy

Oooh, Last Night was fun. JP, RAF, and I headed over to Bodie's to chill out at the Mansion. We had pancakes for dinner (I had mine with ice-cream, Ice-Magic and Honey... Greatest thing EVER... RAF will agree...) Also I danced in the kitchen to Little Cutie by Machine Gun Fellatio, its the most dance-able song ever!!
--> If anyone has seen the very start of Ghost World, with Thora Birch dancing around her room in a red nightie, to that crazy 60's dance.... It was kind of like that...
And we ate popcorn while watching Lost in Translation and some crazy assed Jackie Chan Movie that involved these rich, bored kids, 'Cop-Haters' absolutely terrorising the police force and doing it in style! They had some nice Commedia del 'Arte inspired masks and all wore the same clothing the entire way through the movie... Oh and Jackie Chan was a drunk. hehe. PLUS we played some car game on the XBox, which involved smashing up JP's Astra with the number plate WITZ... hahaha witz. PLus the guys played Halo.
ALSO, there was massive Rain Coming, and so I went outside and danced in it... RAF thinks I'm crazy... and I probably am, but it was so cold and wet and the sky was this awesome purple grey colour and it was RAINING. [*cough* I think you all understand how much I love Rain by now...] So I went Rain Dancing :D
On my way back inside after Rain Dancing, my hand went Smashy Smashy on the back of Bodie's couch *tears* It hurt so much and I had an instant bruise :( Today it still hurts.







In other news... My mother has placed me under House Arrest... I am not allowed to see anyone... I must study apparently... Damn uni, it gets in the way of EVERYTHING

Canberri

Well, My dad has just returned from Canberra, my home town, which I absolutely love. So, seeing as everyone thinks Canberra is boring, I thought I'd make a pretty post about its wonderfulness.



Hot air balloons - This actually happens... OFTEN. I remember waking up really early, like 4am and heading down to the oval next to my primary school. in the dark, freezing cold morning, here would be people setting up for a sunrise lift off in hot air balloons. It was the most magical experience.



Capitol Hill... Pretty self-explanatory



Parliament house Wouldn't be a post about Canberra without this... i sang here once... gotta love the fact that the lawn here is still green and healthy when everything else around Canberra is dry and as hard as rock due to water restrictions... And they say they don't waste money...



Autumn Leaves - This is what Canberra looks like in late Autumn. two days later the beautiful leaves will be totally gone, it happens that fast... But its beautiful while it lasts...



ANU - The Australian National University This could *almost* be Flinders... to look at it, except its cooler than Flinders... My Dad went here...



Merry Go Round - this is my childhood in a nutshell, well in a photo really. i remember every Saturday morning, taking mother to work, a mere 100 metres from this great structure. then we would get frozen yoghurt and ride on the merry go round, twice if we were good :)

Captain Cook Fountain - Also known as Big Ben, cool big fountain situated in the middle of Lake Burley Griffen...



Lost of stuff is on/near Lake Burley Griffen, like the Carillion... a present from the French... I THINK... Either way I really like this picture...



Canberra also has cool festivals, like the annual Garden show Floriade You may think this sounds boring, but its not. There are circus performers, and lots of other arty things, plus the flowers are just plain pretty, and every year there is an amazing new design. And yeah, that is a Harry Potter Scarecrow... How cool. I remember one year we went with my cousin... the one with the plastic boyfriend... and there was a performer on stilts, made up to look like a butterfly, with a massive blue and purple costume on and these beautiful floaty wings. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. I was so fascinated by it... My cousin was so scared she cried... I remember feeling good that day, because she was older than me and cried like a baby...

I know I've said this before, but isn't it weird when you have one of those moments... Like there has been an issue that has been bothering you for a while but because you don't know what to do about it, or you don't have time to deal with it, you push it to the back of your mind, saving it for a rainy day.
And then, fate deals you that object, or event that brings it back into the foreground again, and you begin thinking about it...
As it so happens, it rained the other day and also a few things have happened in the last few days that have made me think.
There is something that I feel needs to be resolved... But I have confrontational issues.
And the other day, it seemed that I had one of those moments. The other things were just lead up, but it was like a moment of clarity, even though I am still confused, for a little while there, I felt a little better...

As many of you know, Jenkinz' partay was last Saturday night, and Ron got rather drunk, and sucked alcohol off my arm. His
EXCUSE/RESPONSE to my claim was:

"Cait...there was no more alcohol...I spilt my drink...I was desperate. Be glad it was only your arm."

To Ron: To this I say BULL! If you'll remember correctly [which you quite obviously don't :p] You came into J's room with a FULL cup of Bourbon and Coke and spilt it everywhere, including all over me... it just so happens that you used your tongue as a mop... but there was def more alcohol... so don't lie! :p
