    Male Order Groom?

There's this thing with my cousin and I...we just don't like each other. She is almost exactly a year older than me, and we just really dislike each other. My grandmother finds this extremely dis-heartening but tends to ignore it, proved my the fact that she sent me some photos of her and my cousin and her boyfriend last time they were in Melbourne. Bad idea, she should have known I would mock my cousin, and on the internet as well, Oh I am such a bad child.

Anyway there is a photo of Laura(my cousin) and her boyfriend, and Holy mother of god, he looks plastic. And not in that Anthony Calleea (sp?) way, he REALLY looks like he is made of plastic, he has the stature of a bloody Ken doll. His lips are the same colour as his damn forehead! its Creepy!!!

In other news, something has happened to the tagboards for now, the just disappeared, as did the rest of my side-board a few minutes ago. I apologise for this, it really isnt my fault.

    Seeya.

Give My Blood To Ron, Before I Become A Nun...

Just to clarify, the title actually has NOTHING to do with the Ron I know...its a Misheard Lyric that I found amusing, So Ron, you cant have my blood...I'd like to keep it, I have Vampires willing to pay :P

On another note, this post was going to be a big whine, but I'm too tired and sick to even do that.
I recently found out I have a pretty bad Iron defiency and may have Hypo-throid-o something, which basically means I will be on pills for the rest of my life. W00t, go me. Yeah I find this sucky news. I'm not going to deal with this in a mature and responsible way, just like everyone expects me to.

EmT recently enlightened us about her 'Family Discussions' the other day, and they sounded scary, and because scary things NEVER happen to me *Rolls Eyes* I never thought I would be a part of one...Family Discussion I mean...with MY family.
So yeah, that's what today brought, Family discussions, and Blood tests. It was an interesting day.

I'm not ina particularly good mood. I also have to go to Uni 2moro. Its my first day and I already loathe it....What does that say about my attitude for the rest of the bloody year??

    Anyways I'm going now

To The Pool Boys: Hope the exam went ok, and you're not still drowning ur sorrows!

    Peace.

    I Honk For Cory

And Yet ANOTHER fast food experience! This time we had a recruited person, being on the form of EmT. Cory Honkers Rule! Anyways, after leaving the bbq, we decided it would be a good idea to head back over to the Macca’s from last night, with the demonic server guy. This, of course makes perfect sense, when none of us live ANYWHERE near the place… This time, as we were much earlier, we were able to enter the Dining Room and make our purchases face to face. The evil guy from last night was serving at the counter, and shook his head in dismay as we entered the premises. He also explained to the other employees that we had bben there the previous night, claiming we went through the drive through, like six times. It was in fact, only three. For the record, his name is Cory, and he’s a pretty cool guy, not as demonic as first thought and he’s kinda hot too :p After ordering my cheeseburger DP’d (aren’t ya proud Kel?) we sat down to contemplate. Every time Cory walked past, we would pay him out, laugh, or do something stupid. Steph actually bought McDonalds cookies, then made me get dipping sauce. Seet Chilli Dipping sauce to be exact. Gross as it sounds, Steph swears it tasted ok, though I am yet to be convinced. We also received a game board, with small characters, which we proceeded to play for approximately 30 seconds, it was boring. Steph also decided she would like to eat the pieces, dipped in sauce of course, and then ate the game board. Whilst Cory put up with out exploits until then, he did comment that this act was “a bit feral”. All the other employees gave us sufficient disapproving and disappointed looks, obviously jealous of all the attention Cory was generating.

After about half an hour, we went back out to the car…and started the drive through trend again. The first time Emma wanted a Coke, and we made Ben, at the first window, promise that Cory would be waiting at the other end for us. He was of course, and was also suitably impressed with the sign we had managed to scrape together in the car while sitting in the queue. It looked like this:
    It says We Luv Cory
    (Well not Bodie. He’s straight)

Weird as this is, apparently we’re not the weirdest people he’s had through the store. Go us!
The end of the drive through was met with an unanimous decision “Again, again”, so Steph decided on a cone, the cheapest thing on the menu. We scraped together another sign, both on the back of Subway bags I might add, the second one saying
    “Cory 4 Australian Idol”

We didn’t get to see Cory that time, but I’m sure the other people would have said hi, as per our request!

    With Ribbons In My Hair

Wow, yet another fantastic outing with friends...

Started out arguing about how to waste time, in the end we hung out at the Macca's at West Tce, and waited for Sally and Ron to join us. We then headed for the ice arena, however only two or three of the 9 or so people intended to skate. Ron, Jenkins, Embo, Jo and I escaped fairly hastily and got in Ron's '3 people comfortably' car for Embo's manual driving lesson. We spent the duration of the trip bunny hopping and skidding down the road. Upon our return, all my friends had proceeded to rip off the Ice Arena by getting free skates and skating...with no socks! Ouch! However, it seems cheating the system is simple! Several blisters, and impressive stacks later, we headed off to meet up with Bodie and Steph, and watch the Bollywood film Bride and Prejudice. Cool right?

    No

After 25 minutes, Steph and I had walked out grabbing Bodie on the way out. The movie usher guy kindly kicked us out (Upskies) and so we proceeded to hang out with our old friend Colonel Sanders, and to begin our second, and second funniest fast food adventure. Shout outs to Natasha, faithful KFC employee, who let us push the green button :D (I know, I know, small things...), and who also agreed that there should be a dress code, after a girl came in wearing what can only be described as a bit of material thrown across her body. Not nice.
We also saw Shan and Will looking very spiffy!

More town adventures followed, as we counted down to Ron's 19th birthday, scored free stuff from Cibo (go 'Sweet' Embo!), and attacked an old nemesis of mine with those round ball things that come off Maple-looking trees.

However the easy highlight of the evening (now morning) occurred at yet another fast food joint, this time the McD's near Kel's house. After dropping Kel home, we hit the 24 hour Macca's and went through the drive through only to duscover that none of us ACTUALLY wanted anything...
I recall the conversation as going like this:
Macca's Dude: Hi, welcome to McDonalds, how can I help you?
Steph: Hi, sorry, we've actually decided we dont want anything...
    MD: Right...Drive Through
*Bodie decides he needs a caffeine hit*
    *We drive thru again*
MD: *confused look* Hi, What can I get for you?
S: All this driving has made me thirsty, can I please have a small Coke (MY line, I'm taking the credit :p)
    MD: Sure. $1.50. Drive Through
Bodie: Sure, we know how to drive through!
Me: We should drive through again and say, 'All this drinking is making me thirsty. Can i have a 30c cone?'
    S: I'll do it
    *We drive thru yet again*
MD: *Now kinda pissed off* How can I help you?
S:All this drinking is making me thirsty. Can i have a 30c cone?
    MD: yeah. 50c. Drive Through
Girl At Window: Hi, How are you?
S: As good as I was 5 seconds ago
    GAW: hehe, Have good night
Me: Can we go again..."All this ice cream has made me cold, can I have some hot chips?"
    S: No

All this happened within like 5 minutes. Bloody freaking hilarious!

The BBQ is tonight, should be good!!

    Wall Of Sound

    Well, well, well....

I just returned from the Good Charlotte concert, and I am so uber impressed :-)

When we got there, me and my brother, had to wait in a loong line, bcause we were later that i wanted to be, owing to the fact that my brother was sitting around looking like Hef in a towel, before deciding to get ready, which takes him like half an hour, due the excessive amounts of gel or whatever that he puts in his hair...

Anyways, we got to the door, and after being felt up by security to make sure i wwasnt holding a gun, or a water bottle, or god forbid a camera in my jeans or t-shirt, we got to go into the actual music part. We hit the middle of the first set, which was The Bleeders, an Adelaidian hardcore band who are also playing at Fowlers tomorrow night if u wanna check them out. Bro and I manouvered our way to the front, right next to a set of speakers 8 ft high. My ears are still ringing. Anyway, walking in there was like hitting a wall of sound, literally. It weird when you can feel the air vibrating around you...cool, but weird. Whne the Bleeders finished their set, there was a little break so that the techies could set up for Day Of Contempt. During this time the sound system started playing some weird ass music, like that Wild Wild West theme music...so strange.
Day Of Contempt are also Adelaidian, yet are based in Orange County *Cali-fornia...Califor-nia...here we co-oooome.*
They were cool guys, I even walked into the guitarist on the way out after the concert...yeah that was fun *rolls eyes*

Good Charlotte started out as usual with the instrumental intro only it stopped halfway thru as Billy walked accross the stage. The house lights went up, and the loner techie was met with loud booing. They started the intro again and this time all went smoothly. They played all the faves, including The World Is Black :D and My Bloody Valentine. Joel made an appropriate dick of himself, dropping the mic while showing off, and making the audience promise he could keep his shoelaces :s He has, since the last show, learnt to play the guitar, and played a sexy white one for several songs. He was a definite crowd pleaser, jumping up on the railing, and generally being a cool guy. Benji has only gotten hotter :) and is such a sweet guy. He's the quieter of the twins, and shakes his head at some of Joel's antics. They try and bounce off each other, each trying to make the audience scream louder than the other... Benji definately won, what with his huge announcement, one that he was going to move to Australia, and two that he was going to take up residence in Adelaide! Of course this wont happen, but it all adds to the hype. He also got the crowd going when he was doing thankyou...and thaked Sydney. It was great all these people started cheering then going "wait, what, Sydney?? What The?" He then went through all the Major cities, before Joel said, its mother fucking Adelaide! Hell Yes!
Paul is never-endingly amusing, especially when someone threw what I imagine to be a demo cd at his head. He ducked out of the way, looked at what it was, and then gave the 'Yeah, I'll pay that' look. It was great.
Billy, who has PURPLE hair!!! dis all the artwork for the album sleeve, which is very cool, and also designed the backdrop which went up. he plays guitar AND keyboard and is totally cool, specially when he's rocking out on TOP od the 8 ft high speakers! W00t!
And then comes Chris...who now has Hair!! No more shall be said.

Best part?? When Benji looked straught at me during Ghost of Me!!!! (Yeah, right now, I'm on an obsessed fan high), and when they played Hold On - the suicide song -and put up a sign some fans had made about their friend who had commited suicide recently. Joel put this sign, which read -

    HOLD ON
    In Loving Memory of Amy
    1987 - 2004
    We Love You

onto the speakers at the back, and there it stayed for the duration of the show.

Apart from the odd annoying person, the show was amazing, even if u dont like them, you have to admit they put on a good show. The boys all looked SPIFFY in their outfits, which was generally some derivation of a suit, except for Billy, who was weraing a proper suit, with a vest and all!

hehe, Joel was talking about 'I Just Wanna Live' their current single and my least favourite song, primarily because it reminds me of a bad 80's song...however Joel admitted to singing like a girl, and it really was better live, especially when he climbed on the mega speakers right above us...so cool!

"Is anybody listening, Gonna hear me when I call, Shooting signals in the air, Coz i need somebodys help, I can't make it on my own, so im giving up myself, is anybody listening?"- Yep guys, we were listening! It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!

    Nighty!!

Well I may as well get on the bandwagon and talk about change. As an eighteen year old who has recently finished high school and been accepted to Uni, I guess change is inevitable. But the kind of change I expected isn’t exactly the change I got, or have witnessed.
I mean, a lot of it was predictable, friends changing in order to impress, but returning to their former selves, when not under performance pressure. This is what was referred to often, as the Jekyll and Hyde experience. Other changed however were unexpected and unwelcome. The withdrawal of a person I once considered a close friend shocked and hurt me, though they don’t seem to know this. Being treated as if I don’t matter and or had no relevance is not a way to stay a friend of mine. Once trust and respect is lost, it’s hard to get back. It’s not possible to waltz back into someone’s life after being gone for so long, and expect everything to be the same. Maybe I have changed, I probably have but, not so much that I am unrecognisable.
When people seem so far away, there is usually a reason for it. It my case, maybe I seem so far away because I have been pushed to that place, and am too scared and unsure to move any closer. Will it happen again? I don’t know if I can stand to be hurt again, I’m too fragile and unwilling. Friendships take work, from both parties concerned. Outside influences cannot be helped, and are inevitable, but you would think the friendship would have been strong enough in the first place. Obviously not. And for this I am sorry. It gets me thinking, was there something else I could have done. But I can’t come up with anything. I was pushed out of the picture, and that’s where I have stayed. Maybe I don’t know the entirety of your story, you obviously don’t know mine. Maybe we should talk, maybe that’s too hard.

Other change can be good however, and in light of this, I have become closer to some wonderful people. Purple Ronnie, I love u! Thank you for making my life fun, and allowing me to let go of all the shit that surrounds me, and for the ‘capsule’ time.

Righto, I wasnt going to actually post this, but I guess I will, and deal with the consequences...or delete it before anyone reads it....

“You always pick the best times
    To drop the worst lines
Well this time I’m not going to watch myself die
I think I made it a game to play your game
I buried myself alive on the inside
So I could shut you out
And let you go away for a long time

I guess its ok I puked the day away
I guess its better you trapped yourself in your own way
And if you want me back
    You’re gonna have to ask
    Nicer than that…”

    Oh Shit!

Yes well, that's enough on that subject!

Today today today. Today was FUN.
It started out as a day with many confusing and fragile plans. I was dropped into town by my lovely Maman at about 12:30 at which time i bought new socks! And phone credit. I shouldnt mention those things because they are of little interest to anyone else, and certainly do not rate in the highlights of today...but I digress

Mia came in and met me at 2:30 and saved me from boredom and we ate rice crackery thingys until Jo and Ali and Bodie finally decided to front. We took Ali off to school, though she was late, and then wandered over to the Adelaide Unibar for pool. Well I didnt actually participate in any of the pooling, but me and Mia watched some pretty awesome shots! Mia decorated Raf's phone cover which was, up until then, decorated with...wait for it...WHITE SCRAP PAPER!!! As you can imagine, Mia the artiste found this highly insulting, and made him pull his phone apart so she could decorate the paper with green texta. The Pool Boys (That general name totally makes them sound like the kinky Latin boys who clean the pool...but they arent...I dont think...) are funny guys, today there was Ron, Raf (who was looking goooood in his sexy bandages, come push up bra), Tate, who is a cool guy who likes Greenday :), and Jenkins of course, and two other guys, I think Alex is one of them, I think he came to something else...and the other guy I didnt know.

After leaving pool, we walked over to the bus stop fully beliveing that we had missed our bus...but we hadnt so that was good. Prior to this we had talked to Steph about picking us up from the bottom of the hill to Jo's and driving us up there, coz we are utter lazy bums, but she had said she couldnt, so we had resigned ourselves to the fact that we would have to walk up Delamere in the 37 degree heat. When we got off the bus, Mia and I were doing the whole "wouldnt it be great if..." scenarios. eg. "Wouldnt it be great if there was a chair lift"
"Wouldnt it be great if Steph was waiting for us...which she is!!!!!"
So BIG WONDERFUL shoutouts to Steph, who saved us that long and treacherous journey!!

Once at Jo's we watched some seriously terrible tv in the form of some show on ABC kids about kids at a school for performers...the kids have terrible acting ability, and performing skills in general, as well as their accents. but it all made for interesting entertainment. Angus, and Juan and Andrew arrived and we went swimming in the freezing pool then spent until dark in the spa. It was fun. Steph and I spent hours making stupid faces at each other, its stuff like that, being stupid and immature, and not caring, that makes life good. I have to mention also, once more, Jo's gorgeous pets, they are so so cute!!

ANYWAYS, Steph and I left Jo's, I dont know, after 10 and went down to KFC at Mitcham, to find it was closed, how tragic, so instead we got Hungry Jacks. We road tripped it to my house, but found that by then, we had both run out of drink, and our chips were cold....so we dropped into Maccas and bought more chips and more drink. The hilarious thing is, it went like this:-
McDonalds Chick: Hi! How can I help you?
Steph: Hi, can I please have a large fries and *shakes Hungry Jacks empty drink container with label facing OUT* my Hungry Jacks drink seems to have run out, can I get a small McDonalds drink?
MC: Uh...sure...so thats a large fries and a small Coke. Drive thru to the next window
MC2: Your uh drink? *stares at Steph sucking obnoxiously on her HJ's drink*...and your fries...
Steph: *sweetly* Thankyou!.....bitch (actually the bitch came after we drove away..but its funnier this way...)

Well I thought this interaction was bloody hilarious.
Steph will probably tell it better on her NEW blog, which you can read at your viewing pleasure at www.theshow-offmustgoon.blogspot.com Go, visit, you'll like it!

I think thats about it for tonight, my mother is sufficiently mad at me, I am sufficiently confused, and not liking the fact that I have a functioning brain which likes to think.

Speaking of brains...or lack of (joking!!) Ron has also set up a blog. You can find him at www.faceofreason.blogspot.com, he'll be there all week...and hopefully longer as well!

'You've done everything right...Don't you know how much trouble you'll get into?'...Damn you

    Saturday, February 05, 2005

Hmm, it's been a while...well not really, but it feels like it.
The last few days have been really fun, I went back to school on Thursday with Emo to pick up her brother and get our yearbooks. This was very very strange, but it was cool to see people again. We then went to Mia's house and then up to Jojo's to watch movies. Our group is so pathetic,, we went to the movie store, and it took us ONE HOUR to choose a movie to watch! Argh, why does it have to be difficult. We ended up hiring Thirteen, Rat Race and Big Fish. I haven't seen Big Fish and didnt like Rat Race, and we watched Thirteen first, even though Mia was totally averse to it. I think its a cool, well made film. We played with Jo's new puppy too, who is so so cute, she's absolutely adorable, and has no name...tee hee
Anyways Mo dropped me home at about 1am which is always fun, and after talking to Juan, I made it into bed, only to be woken up by Jess at like 7...Thanks Jess!!
Yesterday was the Adelaide Big Day Out which I did not attend. Though I did join Steph in dropping the BDOers at the Showgrounds, and on the way stopping at Subway to purchase some of their awesome cookies. Because we took Mia, their Mini Employee we managed to score 14 cookies for only $4!! SCORE INDEED!!
We spnt the day being anti-BDOers which is always fun, and then Emo, Steph and I stayed over at Mia's. We played the Game of LIFE - Emo was in a celibate lesbian relationship and a doctor, twas rather amusing.
Thats about it really, I feel very strange and think I should go and find somwthing productive to do...

Yeah I wrote that 20 minutes ago...I'm really going now...

    Sick Sad Little World

Except today it was more like, Huge Scary Complicated World...

Yes today I ventured all the way down the street and across the road to the institution I will probably refer to as home for the next three to six years - wow it sounds like I'm talking about a mental home - however I am, of course referring to Uni. Its a scary place with lots and lots of builings with letters for names - A Block for example.
Anyway, it looks like a pretty cool place, and has Thirsty Merc playing at the Disorientation gig, which is pretty cool.
I think I will like it there though, plus I'll have Steph around to let me know what's going on!

Today was a day of IRONY...

Hehe, my MSN name is 'Malice In Wonderland' - is there anything cooler?

Anyways, should go, gotta get up early in the morn and go back to school (as in Merc) to collect my yearbook, unfortunately there is a damn big picture of me in it, which is rather hideous, I'll post it when I get it tomorrow.

    Cheers,

    -Cait
